CHEAT ARRESTED
The Staff of PS Hari Nagar, West Distt has done good work by arresting one cheat namely, Jaiveer Saini during the investigation of the case FIR No 97/13, dt. 28.02.13 u/s 420/467/468/471 IPC PS Hari Nagar.
NAME & PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON
1. Jaiveer Saini S/o Brahamanand R/o RZ-23A, New Roshan Pura, Nazafgarh, Delhi Age- 23 Yrs.
RECOVERY MADE
4 Computers with monitor, CPU, printer, etc.
1. 5 ATM card of different banks
2. Rs.67,500/- cash.
3. 2 Mobile phones.
INCIDENT AND OPERATION
On 27.02.13, a PCR call was received that a persons is collecting rupees 250/- from each person by assuring them to arrange for pension. On this information, police consisting of SI Manish Kumar HC Chhailu Singh and Ct. Devender 764/W reached No. 4 Gopal Nagar Fateh Nagar Delhi, where Sh. Kishan Chand was found. He informed that for the past 3-4 months some persons have been collecting rupees 250/- from each person with the assurance that they will get Rs. 1200/- after three months and for arranging low category housing. Enquiry from accused Jaiveer saini was made that how he is collecting money by showing the people that he is from Health Department Govt. of NCT Delhi. On further checking, various cards related to Nehru Health Scheme, application form for pension to Senior Citizen , application form of "Muft Aawas Yojna" and other incriminating fake documents in the name of Govt. of NCT Delhi were found. Hence, statement of Kishan Chand in this regard was recorded and case was registered .
During the course of investigation, Jaiveer Saini was found running a fake office at above address was arrested who disclosed on interrogation that he was working at a Private Hospital in Vasant Kunj and did not get enough money to support the family. He got married in year 2010. Hence to earn easy money he coined this idea and started this illegal activity to show his wife and family that he can make good money. On further interrogation, the incriminating documents, the computers, application forms , health card etc. were recovered at the instance of accused. The accused has trapped/employed 8-9 young job aspirants to implement his scheme. An amount of Rs. 67,500/- was also recovered.
The staff of PS Hari Nagar with the help and awareness of public succeeded in arresting the cheat at initial stage, other wise he would have cheated large number of persons. Further interrogation is being carried out.
Staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.

PERSON FROM BIHAR ARRESTED FOR CHEATING: USED TO CHEAT INNOCENT PERSONS IN LIEU OF PROVIDING PLOTS AT GREATER NOIDA (UP)
With the arrest of one Afroj @ Afroj Ahmed, aged 26 years s/o Mohd. Suleman r/o VPO Khera, PS Shahkund, District Bhagalpur, Bihar, Central District police has arrested a cheat in which he used to lure innocent and gullible persons promising them to provide plots at Greater Noida (UP).
INCIDENT AND THE TEAM
A case was registered vide FIR No. 198/12 dated 28.12.12 U/s 420 IPC PS Chandni Mahal, Delhi on the complaint of Smt. Rekha Devi R/o Patpar Ganj, Delhi. She reported that she alongwith three other persons namely (1) Kanti Devi (3)Khurshid Ahmed (4) Shiv Shankar had came in contact with one Afroz Ahmed owner of Ms Ashiyana Property & Builders at M-16, Vardhman City Plaza, New Delhi. Afroj claimed to provide plots in Greater Noida UP at cheap rates. They were lured by the alleged person to invest in the property and used to enter into an agreement to sell with them. She further alleged that for purchasing plots in Greater Noida (UP), they had paid Rs. 10,12,000/- to Afroj. Afroj neither got the sale deed registered as promised nor retuned the amount obtained from the buyers. Later, he closed his office and went missing.
On this, a team comprising of Inspr. Satender Mohan, SHO/Chandni Mahal, S.I. Ram Niwas, HC Mahender and Ct. Dharampal was constitued under the close supervision of Sh. O.P. Sharma, ACP/Daryaganj.
INTERROGATION
During the course of investigation, it came to notice that alleged Afroj Ahmed was running his office at Vardhman Plaza in the name and style of Ashiyana Builders. His present whereabout was traced and was located at Bhagalpur, from where he was arrested.
During his interrogation, he disclosed that he had come to Delhi in the year 2004. Initially, he worked as a Security Guard at Baghpat for 2 years, thereafter, he came to Delhi. He worked with a property dealer in Laxmi Nagar for 2 months. He also worked with a person who had a business of sale/ purchase of vehicles. He later started to work with a property dealer at Vardhman Plaza where he launched his own firm/company. He took an office on rent at Vardhman Plaza in the year 2010 and started advertising his office as Ashyiana Builders, resembling and imitating a known developer of Noida. He induced lower middle class persons to invest in the property at Sector 80 Noida (UP) and also used to take them to Noida, where he had a small office. The objective was to collect huge amount from the investors. He entered into agreements for sale of plots at village Kakrola Sector 80 with the aggrieved persons and later ran away.
Further investigation/interrogation is in progress.
PROFILE
Afroj @ Afroj Ahmed s/o Mohd. Suleman r/o VPO Khera, PS Shahkund, District Bhagalpur, (Bihar) is 26 years old. He has studied upto 2nd class and came to Delhi for job. During his working with property dealers, he came to know that people are desperate to invest in proprty and it is easy to cheat them in lieu of providing plots and taking advantage of this, he cheated gullible investors.

Staff of Railway and Metro Police have arrested five pick-pocketers in separate incidents. Details of these criminals are as under:-
1. Mohd Khurshid s/o Sahib Jaan r/o EF-20 Badarpur age 27 years
2. Rehan s/o Mohd Harish r/o H.No. 50, Gali No. 13, Ganga Shahy Colony Mandoli Chungi Delhi age 21 years
3. Mahender s/o Kamal Thakur r/o Kochamani Distt Kishanganj age 28 yrs.
4. Imran s/o Mustfa r/o Anil Gurjor ka Makan Kalyanpuri age 24 years
5. Salman s/o Suleman r/o Vagabond, Seelampur Red Light, Delhi, 22 Years.
Accused arrested in P.S. H.N.Din
1. On 27.02.2013, the staff of Police Station H.N.Din, has arrested one accused namely Rehan s/o Mohd Haaris r/o 50, Gali No. 13, Ganga Shahy Colony, Mandoli Chungi, Delhi, age 21 years. He was trying to escape after stealing a ladies bag from the complainant travelling in Lokmanya Tilak Train at 11.20 pm . All the stolen articles were recovered from his possession. Accordingly, a case FIR No. 25/13 dated 27.2.2013 u/s 379/411 IPC PS H.N.Din was registered and accused was arrested.
2. Another accused namely Mohd Khurshid s/o Sahib Jaan EF 20 Badarpur age 27 years, has been arrested while he was trying to steal mobile phone of the complainant Shri Rajinder Kumar Mahto when he was boarding the EMU Train at Nizamuddin Railway Station. A case FIR No. 26/13 dated 28.2.2013 u/s 379/511 IPC PS NZM has been registered and the accused was arrested.
3. Accused Mahender s/o Kamal Thakur r/o Village Gana Mani P.S Kocha Dheman, Post Ganga Ghat, Distt Kishanganj, Bihar age 28 years, has been arrested while stealing a purse of complainant containing Rs.1020/- . A case FIR No. 28/13 dated 28.2.2013 u/s 379/411 PS H.N.Din Railway Station has been registered.

Accused arrested at P.S. Old Delhi Railway Station:-
4. On 27.02.2013, the staff of Police Station Old Delhi Railway Station, have arrested one accused person namely Imran s/o Mustfa r/o Anil Gurjor ka Makan Kalyanpuri , age 24 years, while he was stealing suitcase from Padmawati Express Train. A case FIR No. 43/13 dated 27.02.2013 u/s 379/511 IPC PS ODRS was registered and accused was arrested.
Accused arrested at P.S. Shastri Park Metro
5. On 28.2.2013, at 9.A.M the staff of Police Station Shastri Park Metro have arrested one accused Salman s/o Suleman, age 22 years r/o Vagabond, Footpath Seelampur Red Light, Delhi on the complaint of Shri Subham s/o R.S.Rana r/o H.No. 41 Rispana Road, Karanpur, Dehradun, Uttrakhand. Accused Salman had picked the purse of the complainant containing Rs. 200/- and I.Card. A case FIR No. 12/13 dated 28.2.2013 u/s 379/411 IPC PS Shastri Park Metro has been registered and accused was arrested.
