Title : EMPLOYER ABSCONDING WITH CASH RS. 10 LACS AND LUXURY CAR NABBED : CASH AND CAR RECOVERED.

INTRODUCTION With the arrest of a person namely Vinod Kumar Yadav @ Ramu Yadav, aged 40 years S/o Jagdish Yadav r/o Sangam Vihar, Delhi, the South District Police has solved a case of Criminal Breach of Trust by an employee, who was absconding with cash Rs. 10 lacs and a Lancer car. The Police team has also recovered Rs. 7.80 lacs cash, two bank drafts of Rs. 20,000/- each and lancer car from the possession of accused. INCIDENT & TEAM On 29.7.2007 complainant Sh. S.S. Kapoor r/o Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi had reported in the Police Station Lajpat Nagar that he had sent his driver Vinod Kumar Yadav in his Lancer car to deliver a packet containing cash Rs. 10 lacs to his relative. But driver Vinod Kumar Yadav neither delivered the packet nor he returned back. He suspected that his driver might have fled away with cash and car. Immediately a case of Criminal Breach of Trust was registered in the Police Station Lajpat Nagar and investigation of the case was taken by a police team consisting of SI R.S. Naruka, HCs Surender, Om Prakash, Cts. Grijesh, Naresh led by Inspr. C.K. Sharma, SHO/Lajpat Nagar under the supervision of Sh. Harish Joshi, ACP/Lajpat Nagar. INVESTIGATION The police team immediately conducted a raid at the house of driver at Sangam Vihar but his house was found locked. On enquiry from his neighbourers, the police team came to know that Vinod Kumar Yadav hails from Darbhanga Bihar. The Police team immediately rushed at his native place at Darbhanga. But on reaching there it revealed that due to flood, no transport is available and chances of his arrival/presence at his native place were meek. The Police team came back to Delhi and his mobile phone was kept on observation but his mobile was not responding. From some sources Police team obtained the mobile number of his brother-in-law. The call details of that particular number was taken out, which revealed that his brother-in-law namely Heera Lal Yadav had made a call to one Kamal Kishore, who is with a doctor at Gurgaon. The Police team contacted Kamal Kishore at Gurgaon and enquired about Heer Lal Yadav. It was revealed that Heera Lal is a rickshaw pullar in the area of Atta market, NOIDA. After a lot ground work in the area of Atta market it was revealed that Heera Lal alongwith his accused brother-in law Vinod Kumar had shifted from there to Delhi and they had hired a taxi for transportation of their belongings. The Police team then traced out the taxi driver through whom it was revealed that the duo had come to Begumpur in Delhi, where they had taken an accommodation on rent. The raid was conducted and the accused Vinod Kumar was arrested from there and cash Rs. 7.80 lacs were recovered from his possession. INTERROGATION On sustained interrogation the accused Vinod Kumar revealed that he had also two bank drafts of Rs. 20,000/- each, which he had made to send the amount to his native place. Later Police team recovered these bank draft on his instance. Regarding the rest of the amount the accused disclosed that he had given Rs. 20,000/- to one of his friend for making another bank draft and the remaining amount was spent by the accused on purchase of personal belongings. On further interrogation he disclosed that he had presumed that his employee had given him Rs. 50 lacs for delivery and seeing such a big amount be became greedy and planned to flee with the cash and the vehicle. But on checking he found that the cash was only Rs. 10 lacs. He had parked the Lancer car in the area of Begumpur and then he took an accommodation on rent. Thereafter he alongwith his brother-in-law shifted from Atta market area to Begumpur. The Lancer car has also been recovered by the police team at his instance. PROFILE Vinod Kumar originally hails from Darbhanga, Bihar and he was employed with Mr. Kapoor for last 2 years. Before this he had worked at several other places in Delhi. He was not found involved in any criminal case previously. RECOVERY 1. Cash Rs. 7.80 lacs, 2. Two bank drafts of Rs. 20,000/- each, 3. One Lancer Car.

Title : DESPERATE GANG OF BANGLADESHI ROBBERS HELD : ROBBED ARTICLES ALSO RECOVERED

INTRODUCTION With the arrest of three persons namely i) Abdul Bareeq, aged 48 years, s/o Abdul Haseen, Vihar, ii) Mohd. Kabir, aged 21 years and iii) Mohd. Sagir, aged 19 years, both s/o Abdul Bareeq and all are resident of Jhuggi, Madanpur Khadar, Sarita, New Delhi, the South Distt. Police has busted a gang of dacoits. Robbed articles including 4 mobile phones, 4 costly wrist watches, gold jewellery worth Rs. 60,000/-, 2 i-pod cameras, cash Rs. 3000/- and one button actuated knife has also been recovered from their possession. INCIDENT & TEAM Keeping in view the spade of sensational spade of robberies in the South West District and adjoining area of Gurgaon, Haryana, special teams were constituted by Special Staff/South District under the supervision of Inspr. Vijay Singh, I/C Special Staff, South District under the overall supervision Sh. Subhash Batra, ACP/Ops., South District for the prevention and arrest of these dreaded robbers as they were committing sensational robberies. Several sources were deployed to pin-down this gang and series of raids were conducted in Delhi and Gurgaon for their arrest. Meanwhile, South West District Police had arrested 7-8 robbers of ‘Khokhan Dalal’ gang on 7/8/2007 in connection with these incidents of robberies. The Special Staff of South District also received a secret information on 8.8.2007 that some associates of above said gang would gather at ‘T’ Point Madanpur Khadar and trying to abscond from the area, as their other associates have already been arrested by the Police. Immediately, acting on the information a Police team of Special Staff, South District comprising of SI Neeraj Kumar, ASI Paramjeet, ASI Ashok, HCs Bir Singh, Rajesh, Shyambir, Vijay, Manoj and Raj Kumar, Cts. Virender and Mahender led by Inspr. Vijay Singh, I/C Special Staff raided at above place and apprehended above mentioned three persons and recovered 4 mobile phones, 4 costly wrist watches, gold jewellery worth Rs. 60,000/-, 2 i-pod cameras, cash Rs. 3000/- have been recovered from their possession. One button actuated knife has also been recovered from the possession of Abdul Bareeq INTERROGATION & PROFILE During the course of sustained interrogation, it is revealed out that Abdul Bareeq is head of the family and Sageer and Kabir are his sons. Khokhan Dalal is the gang leader of this gang, was known to Bareeq and used to visit their jhuggi. His two sons Sageer and Kabir used to go with him to commit robberies. After committing robberies all of the gang members assembled at his jhuggi and there they distribute the looted booty. On their further interrogation they disclosed that their involvement in the dacoities of Gurgaon and South West District. They also disclosed that the recovered articles are part of looted articles from Gurgaon and other places of South West District. PROFILE Abdule Bareeq is a Bangladeshi national. He came to India about 15 years back. He started the business of Kabari in the area of Kishan Garh and later shifted to Madanpur Khadar area of Sarita Vihar. Earlier he was involved in petty crimes but he was never arrested. He used to receive the looted articles from different criminal gangs of Bangladeshi national. He also used to provide shelter to them as well as helping them in the disposal of looted articles. His above mentioned two sons are also involved in crime. His sons joined different gangs and committed dacoties at different parts of Delhi and adjoining areas. RECOVERY 1. Four costly mobile phones, 2. Four costly wrist watches, 3. Gold and silver jewellery worth Rs. 60,000/-, 4. Two i-pod cameras, (Sony and Yashika) 5. Cash Rs. 3000/-. 6. One button actuated knife.

Title : ONE ASSOCIATE OF SUPER THIEF BANTI ARRETSED BY CRIME BRANCH TEAM.

„« STOLEN GOODS WORTH RS. 4,00,000/- RECOVERED. „« ALREADY INVOLVED IN MORE THAN 20 CASES OF THEFT AND BURGLARY. „« CONVICTED FOR THREE YEARS IN A THEFT CASE OF PS MALVIYA NAGAR. The Anti Robbery Cell of the Crime Branch has arrested an associate of super thief Banti and two women who were working with him. Stolen goods worth Rs. 4,00,000/- have been recovered from them. The accused persons were involved in a theft case of PS Bara Hindu Rao. The name and address details of the arrested accused persons are as under: 1. Vikram Singh S/o Ram Chander R/o 292, Pocket D, Mayur Vihar Phase II, Delhi. 2. Dulari w/o Som Nath R/o 7945, New Basti, Nabi Karim, Delhi. 3. Reshma W/o Bansi r/o 14 B/52, Dev Nagar, Delhi. HC Rajender Singh of the Crime Branch had some clues regarding the activities and movements of one Vikram Singh, a close associate of super thief Banti. The information was further developed and after diligent technical and hard field work, on 07.08.2007 at about 05:00 PM, secret information was received that the accused persons would come to Mukarba Chowk, Samai Pur Badli, Delhi. On this, a team under the close supervision of Shri Sanjay Tyagi, ACP/Anti Robbery Cell and Insp. Jai Bhagwan was constituted comprising of SI Ajit Malik, SI Sukhpal Singh, HCs Ajit Singh, Narender, Rajender, Ramesh, Joginder and Cts. Sushil, Azad, Manoj, Hanish, Rajesh and Lady Constable Laxmi. The team immediately reached Mukarba Chowk and took strategic position around the expected place of their arrival. At about 05:30 PM, a young man and two elder women were spotted at bus Stand. On the tip off, the raiding team surrounded the accused persons and apprehended them. All the accused persons were carrying luggage bags with them. On search of the luggage bags, stolen sarees and suit pieces were recovered from the bags. Hence all the accused persons were booked u/s 41.1 (D) CrPC. The accused persons were subjected to sustained interrogation by the Crime Branch team. During the course of interrogation, it was revealed that Vikram Singh had developed a very peculiar modus operandi. He alongwith 3-4 lady associates would visit big saree showrooms in various parts of city on the pretext of shopping and during the course of shopping they would steal few sarees/suits from these shops. On enquiry it was found that a case vide FIR No. 226/07, dated 06.08.2007, U/s 380 IPC was already registered at PS Bara Hindu Rao, Delhi in this regard. They had committed similar type of incidents in various other cities also. In the year 2002, he and his associate Super Thief Banti were arrested by the Special staff of South District and more than 20 cases of theft and burglary were solved. He spent 03 years in the jail after being convicted in case FIR No. 367/02, PS Malviya Nagar, Delhi. In the year 2005 he came out of the jail. In the year 2006 he was again arrested in case FIR No. 906/06, U/s 454/380 IPC, PS Malviya Nagar, Delhi. After that he came in the contact of Dulari, Reshma and Madhu and they started stealing the clothes from the showrooms. The concerned authorities at Police Station Bara Hindu Rao have been informed for further necessary action. The accused persons are being produced before the Hon¡¦ble Court at Rohini. Further investigation in the case is on.
