With the arrest of (1) Balvinder Singh @ Vicky s/o Paramjit Singh r/o H.No.49, Gali No.1, South Anarkali, Som Bazar, Chander Nagar, Delhi, (2) Baljeet Singh @ Lucky s/o Paramjit Singh r/o H.No.C-216, South Anarkali, Som Bazar, Chander Nagar, Delhi and (3) Baljender Singh @ Sonu s/o Trilochan Singh r/o H.No.81, Gali No.3, South Anarkali, Som Bazar, Chander Nagar, Delhi, East District police has busted a gang of gamblers.
INCIDENT
On 29.7.2007 HC Rajpal Singh, Ct. Parveen Singh and Ct. Jawahar Singh of P.S. Geeta Colony were on area patrolling duty in beat No.3. At about 6.10 P.M. when they reached near Punjab & Sindh Bank, Geeta Colony they got information about gambling in Tikona Park, Geeta Colony. HC alongwith both Constables conducted a raid at Tikona Park and found three persons gambling with the help of playing cards. On seeing the police party they threw the playing cards in their hands and tried to flee away but the police persons over-powered all of them.

A case vide FIR No.294/2007 dated 29.7.2007 u/s 12/9/55 Gambling Act has been registered at P.S. Geeta Colony and all the three accused persons have been arrested.

Title : | FUGITIVE CRIMINAL ARRESTED. EVADING ARREST FOR LAST TWO YEARS. DUPED A LADY TO THE TUNE OF LAKHS OF RUPPEES |
With the arrest of one Vijay Sisodiya @ Brijesh s/o Sh. Devi Singh r/o A-67 Rama Park, Uttam Nagar, Delhi, Delhi Police was able to nab a Fugitive criminal accused of a cheating case of PS Sarai Rohilla reported vide FIR No. 318/2005, U/s 406/420 IPC PS. Sarai Rohilla, Delhi.
On 29.07.2007 HC Rajbir Singh 87/Crime, received a secret information that one Vijay Singh Sisodiya, a fugitive criminal who is wanted in a criminal case of PS Sarai Rohilla is living in the area of Uttam Nagar with a fake name of Brijesh. The Crime Branch immediately swung into action and a raiding party comprising of Inspr. Ran Singh, ASI Sumer Singh, HC’s Mahavir Singh 7099/DAP and Rajbir Singh 87/Crime under the close supervision of Sh. Sanjay Tyagi, ACP/ARC was organized. As soon as the said person was seen outside A-67, Rama Park, Uttam Nagar, Delhi, the team immediately apprehended him on the instance of the informer. The accused is wanted in one case of cheating involving cheating of Rs. 25,90,000/- (twenty five lakhs and ninety thousand only) which is reported vide FIR No. 318/05 PS Sarai Rohilla, Delhi. In the said case the accused firstly won over the trust of the complainant namely Ms. Rajni Tomar w/o Dr. Raghu Raj Tomar r/o H. No.243, Vivekanand Puri, Delhi and later on cheated her of a huge amount of money to the tune of Rs. 25,90,000/- (twenty five lakhs and ninety thousand only) and left the place and started living at the address above said along with his family under a fake name of Brijesh. Police left no stone unturned but to no avail.
However, Crime Branch remained in per suit of the accused and the hard work and professionalism paid off when the Crime Branch, managed to apprehended the accused from the area of Uttam Nagar, New Delhi.
The accused had been arrested u/s 41.1 (a) Cr. PC and Sarai Rohilla police had been informed about this arrest to take legal action against the accused.

With the arrest of one Shamsul s/o Sh. Mustafa r/o Jhuggi Okhla Morh, Lal Kuan, Delhi, Anti Robbery Cell of Crime Branch, Delhi Police was able to nab a desperate criminal.
On 29.07.2007 HC Rajbir Singh 52/Crime, received secret information that one Shamsul , a desperate criminal who is involved in many criminal cases of theft, NDPS Act, burglary etc.. The information further entails that the desperado would be coming near Sangam Cinema, R.K. Puram, New Delhi to meet his acquaintance and also that he would be carrying an illegal weapon.
The Crime Branch immediately swung into action and a raiding party comprising of Inspr. Ran Singh, SI Kuldeep Singh, HC Rajbir Singh 53/Crime Const.’s Manoj Kumar No. 400/Crime, Ashok Kumar No. 231/Crime under the close supervision of Sh. Sanjay Tyagi, ACP/ARC was organized. As soon as the raiding party arrived at Sangam Cinema at 4.20 PM on 29.07.2007 Shamsul was found standing near main gate of Sangam Cinema waiting for someone. Instantly he was apprehended at the instance of the informer. On his frisking a loaded ‘Desi Katta’ of .315 bore was recovered from his right side.
The accused had been arrested vide FIR No. 417/07 u/s 25 Arms Act PS R.K. Puram, New Delhi. During interrogation the accused had admitted his involvement in more than ten criminal cases involving those of theft, burglary, NDPS Act and Arms Act. The concerned local police stations have been informed about his involvement in their respective cases so that they can take legal action against him.
The accused has been produced in the court at Patiala House Courts, New Delhi on 30.07.2007.
